Olise Claiborne Meredith (AH-liss CLAY-burn)...married to Natalie...graduated from Meadowbrook (VA) High School... played three years at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2002-04...established a VCU record with a 2.52 career ERA...also set a single-season school record with a 1.19 ERA in 2003...was named as the reliever on the All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team that year, going 6-0 with eight saves and 70 strikeouts in 60.1 innings...made the CAA All-Tournament Team in 2003, helping the Rams to the conference title for the second consecutive year...was named as the relief pitcher on the 2004 All-CAA Second Team, fanning 84 in 67.0 innings with seven saves.
