MANAGERIAL/COACHING CAREER

Enters his first year with the Orioles...2014 marks his 34th season in professional baseball as a coach, instructor or front office executive...Spent the past four seasons as Minor League Pitching Coordinator for the Atlanta Braves...The Orioles are his fifth Major League club as he also served as pitching coach for the Houston Astros in 2007, the Boston Red Sox from 2003-06, the New York Mets from 1999-2000 and the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1995-97...Helped the Red Sox to the 2004 World Series championship and the 2000 Mets to a National League title...Wallace spent 20 years in the Dodgers organization from 1981-97 and 2001-03...He spent his final three seasons in Los Angeles as the Senior Vice President of Baseball Operations, overseeing the club's minor league operations and consulting on Major League baseball operations.

PLAYING CAREER

The right-hander made 13 Major League appearances with Philadelphia (1973-74) and Toronto (1978)...Also appeared in 363 minor league games (34 starts) from 1970-86, going 48-37 with a 4.13 ERA (712.2IP, 327ER)...Appeared in four games for Albuquerque in 1984 and 1986 while serving as the team's pitching coach...Signed by the Phillies as a free agent in 1969.

PERSONAL

A graduate of the University of New Haven in 1969 with a degree in Business Administration, Wallace went 24-6 in college and helped UNH to the NAIA Eastern Regional Championship and a spot in the 1966 national tournament... Dave, and his wife, Joyce, reside in Wrentham, Massachusetts.
