MANAGERIAL/COACHING CAREER

Is in his second year as assistant hitting coach on the Major League staff...Is in his seventh year in the organization...After starting his coaching career in 2008 as a field coach with the Gulf Coast League Orioles and Aberdeen IronBirds, Diaz managed the Rookie-level Bluefield Orioles in 2009 and 2010...He served as a field coach for Double-A Bowie in 2011 and with Single-A Delmarva in 2012 before being added to the Major League staff prior to the 2013 season.
