Following are the 2016 Postseason Guidelines for Season Ticket Holders. If you have any questions or need help securing your seats, please contact your Account Manager directly or call the Season Ticket Hotline at (206) 346-4003.

Seattle Mariners Season Ticket Holders will be among the first to have the opportunity to secure tickets for possible Major League Baseball (MLB) Postseason games to be played at Safeco Field. While we will make every effort to abide by the guidelines below, Postseason games are hosted by the Mariners on behalf of Major League Baseball and thus are subject to possible changes based on MLB requirements. The specific location and number of seats available for purchase depend on a number of factors, including the type of the Season Ticket Plan (e.g., Full Season or 20-Game Plan), Season Ticket account longevity (e.g., the number of continuous years as a Season Ticket Holder in good standing), the number of seats and seating category.

Season Ticket Holders will be invoiced for Postseason and may pay for their tickets online through their account Access requires an account number and password. If you do not remember your password, please click "Forgot Your Password?" to reset. If you need assistance, please contact your Account Manager directly or call the Season Ticket Holder Hotline at (206) 346-4003.

To secure your seats, payments must be received no later than Monday, September 26. There are two payment options to choose from:

  1. Pay in Full
  2. Enroll in a 2-part payment plan (credit card only)
Part 1) 50% charged at enrollment
Part 2) 50% automatically charged at the conclusion of the Division Series (between October 10-12)

Credit for any unplayed Postseason games will be transferred automatically to your 2017 Season Ticket balance, unless a request to refund the original form of payment was made. (See 'Postseason Refunds' details below.)

All 2016 Postseason tickets will be Print-at-Home/Mobile and delivered electronically through My Mariners Account (

Ten teams, five from each league, qualify for Postseason play. In both the American and National Leagues, the three division winners will automatically qualify, and the two remaining teams with the best winning percentage will earn the two Wild Card spots. Opponents and home field advantage are dependent upon each team's regular season record. This may not be finalized until the last day of the regular season. Therefore, tickets for all possible playoff games, including potential Tiebreaker Games are included in your Postseason ticket package.

  • Tiebreaker Game 1: A one-game matchup to decide the winner of Division and/or Wild Card
  • Tiebreaker Game 2: A one-game matchup to decide the winner of the Wild Card
  • Wild Card (Series 1): A one-game matchup between the two Wild Card teams
  • Division Series (Series 2): A best-of-5 series played in a 2-2-1 format (if necessary)
  • League Championship Series (Series 3): A best-of-7 series played in 2-3-2 format (if necessary)
  • World Series (Series 4): A best-of-7 series played in a 2-3-2 format, with the American League hosting Games 1, 2, 6 & 7 (if necessary)

Ticket pricing for all playoff rounds will vary and all prices are made in conjunction with Major League Baseball. There are several seating demands that exist for the Postseason, including commitments for Major League Baseball and its partners. Current regular season seat locations are not guaranteed for Postseason location, and while every attempt will be made to keep you in your current season locations, relocations may occur.

To request a refund to the original form of payment, please send an e-mail, including your account number, to Refund checks and credits will be issued within four weeks of the Mariners last Postseason game. It is not necessary to return tickets from games not played to receive a refund.
