Ouch, Brad

Orioles 7, Royals 3
Rookie Brad Bergesen claimed his seventh victory of the season. (Rob Carr/AP)
Brad Bergesen was happy to settle for a win for his troubles. Bergesen held the Royals to one run over seven innings, but Billy Butler hit a liner off Bergesen's leg for the final out of the seventh inning to end his day. The O's, keyed by a four-run fifth inning, scored plenty to earn a four-game split.
