Tigers 3, Orioles 0
Jason Berken gave the O's bullpen a break with seven great innings. (Rob Carr/AP)
By Jeff Seidel / Special to MLB.com
Jason Berken pitched like a veteran in his second big league start, holding the Tigers to a single run over his seven innings. But the run, via Curtis Granderson's homer, was good enough for Detroit as Edwin Jackson held Baltimore at bay. Nick Markakis had the O's first hit in the fourth.
