The Detroit Tigers are teaming up with Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation to present Children's Health Night on June 16 at 7:08 p.m. when the Tigers face the Cincinnati Reds at Comerica Park. This year the club is partnering with Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation to promote injury prevention awareness and summer safety tips as children and their families head into the summer months. A pregame on-field ceremony will recognize families that have benefited from the support of CHM Foundation.
Through the generosity of Tigers pitcher Anibal Sanchez and his wife, Ana, the Detroit Tigers is proud to launch Sanchez's Little Smiles.The Sanchez family will invite 19 guests to attend a Tigers baseball game in grand fashion through their new program.
Prior to Thursday's game vs. the Minnesota Twins at 1:08 p.m., over 1,300 students from local schools will participate in Weather Day, the third installment of the Tigers' annual "Class Outside Series."
The Tigers return to Comerica Park from a 10-game road trip to begin a six-game homestand Friday night. The Tigers will open the homestand against the Kansas City Royals (May 8-10), while the Minnesota Twins will visit for a three-game series (May 12-14).
