The Orioles Gulf Coast League (GCL) team will play its first home game of the 2013 season at the Ed Smith Stadium complex on Saturday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. vs. the GCL Rays.
Hundreds of youth from the Brooklyn O’Malley Boys and Girls Club and members of their community will have access to the latest technology thanks to a $75,000 donation from OriolesREACH and Boys and Girls Club alumnus ADAM JONES designated to renovate and expand a Technology and Learning Center within the Club’s facility at 3560 3rd Street. When complete, the renovation will enhance the Club’s ability to provide educational support, computer skill development and career enrichment, college preparatory and STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) programs to these at-risk and underserved members. The new Technology and Learning Center will also be utilized by community members for employment search, financial literacy, GED and career and educational support.
