The Orioles announced after tonight's game that they have optioned RHP MATT ALBERS to Triple-A Norfolk and will recall RHP KAM MICKOLIO from the Tides tomorrow.
Mickolio, 25, is 3-3 with a 3.50 ERA (43.2IP, 17ER) in 35 games with Triple-A Norfolk. He had four scoreless appearances with the Orioles, spanning 4.2 innings, earlier this season when he was on the roster on two separate occasions, July 6-21 and July 31-August 4.
Albers, 26, is 2-4 with a 5.85 ERA (52.1IP, 34ER) in 42 games with the Orioles.
