O's aim to snap Sunday losing streak
Offer "We Win, You Win" promotion

In an effort to reverse their struggles in Sunday games this season, the Orioles have announced the first-ever "We Win, You Win" promotion at Camden Yards. The team is encouraging fans to come out to provide extra support for the ballclub at the Sunday, July 6 game vs. the Texas Rangers at 1:35 p.m. If the Orioles defeat the Rangers that day, all fans in attendance will receive a complimentary ticket in the same seating category to any future non-prime game.
Through yesterday's game, the Orioles were 41-39 on the season. They had a 1-12 record on Sundays, having not won a Sunday game since April 6 vs. Seattle at Oriole Park, the opening weekend of the year. The Orioles have a 40-27 combined record on all other days of the week.
"The club is extending this extremely unique offer to those fans attending Sunday's game," said Orioles Director of Communications Greg Bader. "The circumstances surrounding the team's Sunday struggles are highly unusual and inexplicable. We believe the situation calls for added assistance from our loyal fans to help the team deliver another Sunday victory. And if the Birds win on Sunday, anyone who does help us break this hex will be rewarded with a complimentary ticket to a future game of his or her choice."
Tickets for the Sunday, July 6 game are available online at www.orioles.com; via phone at 1-888-848-BIRD; or in person at the Camden Yards Box Office. This date also features the popular "Kids Run the Bases" Day, where all fans 14 and under are invited to run the Oriole Park bases following the game.
The "We Win, You Win" offer is valid for paid tickets only. If the Orioles defeat the Rangers, fans will be given their choice of a comparable seat location for any of the 33 remaining non-prime dates during the 2008 regular season, subject to availability. If the Orioles win on July 6, the Camden Yards Box Office will remain open following the game to accommodate those fans wishing to redeem their tickets, though fans will also be able to redeem them any time prior to Aug. 31.
