    Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jack Zduriencik issued the following statement today regarding an incident that took place during last night's game between the Everett AquaSox (Seattle's short-A affiliate in the Northwest League) and the Boise Hawks (the short-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs):

    Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves: James Jones, OF, recalled from AAA Tacoma; Erasmo Ramirez, RHP, optioned to AAA Tacoma (post-game 8/27).

    Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jack Zduriencik announced the following roster moves.

  • Mariners to donate a portion of proceeds from concessions sales

    The Seattle Mariners will donate a portion of the proceeds from all concessions sales at Safeco Field during the month of September to the Humane Society for Seattle/King County.

  • Seattle Mariners announce extension for General Manager Jack Zduriencik

    Seattle Mariners President & Chief Operating Officer Kevin Mather announced today that the club and Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jack Zduriencik have agreed to a multi-year contract extension.

  • Seattle Mariners "Favorite Things"

    Seattle Mariners players have picked out their "favorite things"-from DVDs and CDs to snack foods and hobbies-thrown in a trove of autographed items, and are offering them for auction on Friday, August 29, during the Mariners vs. Washington Nationals game at Safeco Field. Proceeds will benefit Mariners Care, the team's non-profit foundation.

  • Native American Night at Safeco Field

    The Seattle Mariners and EQC are joining together to honor the heritage and culture of Native Americans, primarily those of the Pacific Northwest.

  • Mariners & Paccar Team up to Support Children's Literacy

    A Kenworth T880 52-inch sleeper truck with a special Seattle Mariners theme will be part of a PACCAR fund-raising effort outside Safeco Field in support of the Page Ahead Children's Literacy Program in Seattle. The event will take place Tuesday, August 26, before the 7:10 p.m. Mariners home game against the Texas Rangers.

  • Mariners Celebrate Evergreen Jackie Robinson Scholars at Safeco Field

    Three students who attend the Evergreen State College in Olympia will be honored on Tuesday, August 26, during a ceremony before the Seattle Mariners game against the Texas Rangers (7:10pm start). The students are recipients of the annual Jackie Robinson Memorial Scholarship from the Evergreen State College Foundation.
