  • Twins to host TwinsFest presented by U.S. Bank this weekend at Target Field

    The Minnesota Twins will host TwinsFest, the largest annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, this weekend at Target Field. In addition, tickets for the 2017 Home Opener against the Kansas City Royals on Monday, April 3 will go on sale starting at 4:00 p.m. CT on Friday, Jan. 27 in conjunction with the start of TwinsFest. The first 30,000 fans in attendance for the Home Opener on April 3 will receive a Twins long sleeve hooded tee (Adult M or XL). Tickets will be made available via www.twinsbaseball.com, by calling 612-33-TWINS (612-338-9467), 800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467) or in-person at the Target Field Box Office.

  • Twins and Phillies debut Dominican Republic baseball academy

    The Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies announced today the completion of their new shared baseball academy in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, with a grand opening celebration held at the site. The $18 million, 85,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is housed on 45 acres. Prospects for both teams will reside and train at the academy, participate in an education program and take part in a cultural development program.
