    The Los Angeles Angels, in partnership with baseball legend Rod Carew and his wife Rhonda, will launch a year-long campaign to promote awareness of cardiovascular disease. The Heart of 29 campaign honors the Carew's wish to assist the American Heart Association following the Hall of Famer's recent heart attack and subsequent surgery. Rod had an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) implanted during surgery and is anticipating the possibility of a heart transplant.
