    The Minnesota Twins announced the Diamond Award recipients today, their annual awards for the 2015 season based on voting conducted by the Twin Cities Chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America. In addition, the Twins and the BBWAA announced plans for the Eleventh Annual Diamond Awards, which will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Target Field and will benefit research, education and care in brain, nerve and muscle disorders at the University of Minnesota.

    The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have reinstated right-handed pitcher Ricky Nolasco from the 60-day disabled list. In addition, the Twins have placed left-handed pitcher Logan Darnell on the 60-day disabled list with pneumonia.

  • Twins to recall Max Kepler from Double-A Chattanooga

    The Minnesota Twins announced tonight that they will recall outfielder/first baseman Max Kepler from Double-A Chattanooga. He was recently named Southern League Most Valuable Player after hitting .322 (131-for-407) with 32 doubles, 13 triples, nine home runs, 71 RBI and 76 runs scored in 112 games for the Lookouts.

  • Tonight's Twins-Angels game postponed

    The Minnesota Twins have announced that tonight's (Friday, Sept. 18) 7:10 p.m. game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 19) at 12:10 p.m. (gates open at 11 a.m.). The evening game will be played at 6:10 p.m. game as originally scheduled (gates open at 5 p.m.).

    MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Minnesota Twins today announced that tickets for the potential 2015 American League Wild Card game and American League Division Series games at Target Field will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Sept. 30 beginning at 10 a.m.
