Marlins at the plate: Hanley Ramirez singled in a run in the first inning and doubled in a run in the third. John Baker doubled twice and scored twice, and Jorge Cantu jacked a two-run home run and a run-scoring double. Cameron Maybin had an RBI single in the fourth inning and a two-run double in the fifth.

Orioles at the plate: Ryan Freel led off the bottom of the first inning with a double and scored on a one-out single by Nick Markakis. Markakis reached on a walk in the third and hit a home run in the fifth. Aubrey Huff and Melvin Mora both singled in the third, but the Orioles wound up stranding them.

Marlins on the mound: William Glen got the ball instead of Ricky Nolasco on Wednesday and pitched four strong innings, allowing six hits and one earned run. Nolasco is still on track to start Opening Day. Logan Kensing took the ball from Glen and gave up a solo home run in his lone inning of work.

Orioles on the mound: Jeremy Guthrie struggled again in his final spring start, giving up 10 hits and eight earned runs in four innings. Guthrie gave up 24 hits and 18 runs in four Spring Training outings. Danys Baez got hit hard in his lone inning of work, allowing three hits, two walks and three earned runs.

Grapefruit League records: Marlins 12-17-1; Orioles 12-19

Up next: The Orioles will head to Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Thursday at 1:10 p.m. ET for their final Grapefruit League game, and they'll pit Adam Eaton against New York's Mike Pelfrey.

The Marlins will return home to their Jupiter, Fla., complex for a game against their neighbors, the Cardinals, matching up Josh Johnson against Todd Wellemeyer at 1:05 p.m.
