One more game remains for the Orioles to continue their two-series winning streak. Baltimore beat the New York Yankees on the road and Toronto at home before the current series against Minnesota, which is currently tied at one game apiece. The Twins took an easy win Wednesday, but the Orioles can get the last laugh with a win Thursday.

"I know they have a good bullpen, but I still felt good about our team at that point," said Baltimore manager Sam Perlozzo, speaking about the late portions of Wednesday's game. "We just didn't get anything going at all today. The chances we had, they made great defensive plays on us. We just didn't have many more chances."

Baltimore's Kris Benson will get the ball in the series finale, and he'll be matched against Minnesota rookie Boof Bonser. Benson won his last start but endured a six-outing winless streak before that. Benson is 4-5 with a 3.47 ERA at Camden Yards, and 9-5 with a 3.47 mark in night games. Bonser has lost three straight decisions.

The Orioles tied this season series last year and have only won it once in the last six seasons. Baltimore is 2-3 against Minnesota this season and 20-19 since the beginning of the 2001 season. Over that same time frame, the Orioles are just 11-10 against the Twins in games at Camden Yards.

Pitching matchup
BAL: RHP Kris Benson (10-9, 4.63 ERA)
Benson has allowed at least two home runs in four straight starts and has just one win since June 28.

MIN: RHP Boof Bonser (2-4, 5.51 ERA)
Bonser has completed at least five innings in seven of his first 10 starts with Minnesota.

Player to watch
Only one Twin has more than 10 at-bats against Benson, and that's Luis Castillo (5-for-17, .217 average).
