BALTIMORE -- There will be 51 more reasons for Orioles fans to come out to Thursday's game against the Oakland A's.
In preparation for their pageant on April 11, all 51 Miss USA contestants will be on hand for the Orioles' series finale against Oakland. The visit is part of a two-week plan of activities for the pageant, which will be held at the Hippodrome Theater.
Last week, the Miss USA contestants visited M&T Bank Stadium and participated in football drills with Baltimore Ravens players.
On Thursday, a handful of contestants will arrive at 5 p.m. ET to watch batting practice and meet members of the Orioles. At 6:45 p.m. ET, all of the contestants will line the infield dirt as Miss Maryland Marina Harrison and current Miss USA Shandi Finnessey will throw out the ceremonial first pitches.
Also, Miss Alabama Jessica Tinney, Miss Montana Amanda Kimmel, Miss New Hampshire Candace Glickman, Miss Oregon Jessica Carlson and Miss Washington Amy Crawford will perform the national anthem before the game.
