Ticket Programs

Commissioner's Community Initiative

As part of its "MLB Going Beyond" community and cause marketing initiatives for 2013, Major League Baseball is proud to execute The Commissioner's Community Initiative, which builds on the past success of the Commissioner's Initiative for Kids. The primary goal of the Commissioner's Community Initiative is to distribute tickets to those youth-serving, community and civic groups who normally would not have the opportunity to attend a Major League Baseball game. The Cincinnati Reds donated nearly 100,000 tickets last season on the way to a National League Central Division Championship.

Player's Give Back

Hosted by the Major League Baseball Players Association, Players Give Back is an opportunity to give back to community partners in the non-profit field. This program recognizes the contributions these local organizations give to the community.

Bruce's Buddies

Jay Bruce hosts a monthly ticket program that invites children with special needs to enjoy a Reds game at Great American Ball Park. Groups from last season include Hamilton County Special Olympics and LADD (Living Arrangements for the Developmentally Disabled). The group receives a special scoreboard welcome along with custom made Reds caps.
